Ladd 57GP 8G 8A 16P 32PIM

Both guys have had similar career curves, middle 6ers on great teams and then top liners last year on rebuilding teams' first playoff appearances. Ladd takes more penalties, scores less goals, gets significantly less assists, and has played less playoff games. I sure hope GMs aren't thinking Ladd is a more useful playoff performer. The Ducks shut him down completely last year and he didn't do much on the 2010 Blackhawks either.

My word could you just imagine? This is something that absolutely has to happen now or else I'm going to be sad.

He's not very good. He's decent on the PK but poor everywhere else. Even when he has a good game he follows it up with poor stretches. Also when given an opportunity he takes stupid dumb penalties.

With Goulet and Woodcroft also here, looks like the Flames are having scouting meetings

Kristen Odland @Kristen_Odland
For the record, Brian Burke, Craig Conroy, and Brad Pascal are all in the press box tonight. No Brad Treliving who is in NYC w/Wideman.

The only difference between this year and last is the stretch he played with Johnny last year. Pretty much identical otherwise

Agreed. It wasn't about the hockey. It was the "intangibles".

I added a list a few posts down from that one. Zykov is on there. Not sure about auger.

I wonder if they will have a big war room with all the scouts and managers on trade deadline day

So he's still a marginal 4th line player at best?

Thanks.

Wasn't Ashahx's desk flipping over the fact that Hudler is playing, not that Jooris isn't?

Atleast that's why I thanked it.

Actually scoring at an identical rate this year at even strength. Zero PP time whereas he had 3 PP Goals + 1 PP Assist last season in just 40 minutes.

There was discussion yesterday that Jooris is worth keeping because he has nice spreadsheet/graph stats

Man, I bet Kris Russell is gone by midnight. Either to Dallas or Tampa. My bets.

I don't get the talk of why Boedker is the big forward now over Hudler. They are very similar and both are rentals so the fact that one is younger shouldn't matter.
