Kind of annoying that this is on the NHL Live but not on Center Ice for those that already purchased the full season in Canada

The fan/crowd sounds were provided by EA Sports. I don’t expect a lot

Well it's not like Canadians would watch hockey after not having a sniff for months

It actually looks pretty good on TV. I stopped noticing the empty stands pretty quickly. The fan noise does sound a bit weird though. But I guess it's better than a silent arena.

Taking a while to get to 5000

Not all Centre Ice's are created equal strangely enough. Some cable/satellite systems show games others won't, and not just due to regional restrictions etc. Like how some will show pre season games and some don't. Very odd.

Feels a bit like a Kazakhstan vs Belarus afternoon preliminary game in Oslo. Just needs a Skoda in the corner.
But it's the best thing ever.

I don't hate the fake crowd noise. At least it's not over bearing or anything.
I actually forgot about it until someone mentioned it here. The timing of the roar when a goal is scored sounds pretty real.

This. It really does feel like watching a IIHF game being hosted in some Eastern European country with small crowds.

I haven't really noticed the fake crowd noise, but that might be because I have the volume turned down to be just loud enough to hear the announcers.

In the other hub, even the architecture of the city will give you that feeling as well.

I'm going to have an unpopular opinion but I found that so incredibly boring to watch. Maybe it's because the players aren't going at full speed, but god, without fans it sucks any energy out of the game. It's basically the same as watching a minor hockey game.

Malkin throws a pizza right up the middle.
What a terrible play.

Yeah that's what's annoying.
Works on gamecenter live, and it's on their new NHL.TV Playoff package, but people that already dished out for Center Ice don't appear to get access to it.

The game is a lot faster, precise, and intense than any exhibition game I’ve ever watched.
