McDavid is a excellent offensive player, but his uninterested play without the puck, and he really hasn't rounded out his game in the years he's been in the league make him not generational. Unless it turns around he's going to be the guy that can never be counted on to be a winner. By the end of the year he'll be that hobo looking character throwing around blame like a manhole cover.

As soon as they finished that story, I immediately wanted to see how he did in the dot through the first. I don't know where to look for live stats beyond the basics NHL.com provides though. Anyone?

5 wins 3 losses. Not sure how good Horvat is on draw and he did win 1 against Boesser. Hes the best in the league now at that too I guess

I know E=NG just got a new play-by-play guy and we all thought it made them just a tad less NG. But that bloody vibrato cringe on Yamamoto's goal clearly shows that nothing has changed. E will always = NG.

This is Harnaryan Singh tonight, not the new Oilers PBP guy. The new Oilers guy (Jack Michaels) is no good though.

Ah, cheers for that, I just knew they had replaced the old guy. Also sounds like Singh is generally decent (as per other thread), so it's nice of him to turn up the NG for E only, IMO.

Tippet going back to 'Plan A' of just playing McDavid constantly.
Also, Koskinen's 'glove-hand' is offensive to goaltenders everywhere.
