Tampering wouldn't be that hard to prove in the later rounds, when teams go off the board constantly. If Toronto suddenly starts taking a swathe of players the Flames had ranked highly, there are ways to call shenanigans using statistics. It's not hard.

How about Toronto gives the Flames their draft rankings and scouting reports, then we're even?
What, they wouldn't want to do that? You don't say...

Is this a thing? Do all nhl Cs have size?
Never really taken note.

Point is 5’11. Ands lots of centres are 6’0 or 6’1. It’s not a huge gap.
Plus Coronato has decent weight to him.

6’0” and 6’1” are a far cry from 5’10”.
Plus, Coronato is not exactly a world class skater, or a defensive stalwart like Point.

Scoring Winger

5"10 180 lb is alot different from 6'0 175lb.
Short stocky guy like coronato could be alot stronger then petterson, aho, zegras and Hughes for example.
There's obviously no gurantee he could be a center but his size should be no issue.

2 inches is not a “far cry”. And heft is much more important than height.
And I think you should go back and look at the skating history of Point. He was a noted poor skater. He worked hard to improve. And the same was said about his defence. That’s why he was a third rounder.

So what you're saying is he's short for his weight.

How much center did he play this past season?
Almost all the highlight videos of Coronato I can find show him scoring from skating down the wing. Granted, the sample size is small as there doesn't seem to be upload footage of every goal and point he had this past year. It's also difficult sometimes to tell if he was just covering as plays evolved.

We call that Hockey IQ, He's not big but will use his speed to drive the outside and if there is a lane inside he will take it.
Does that mean McDavid isn't a Center because he drives play from all over the ice...

Johnson would be an amazing return.
Not sure how much of a + there would be to be, but if Lindholm is open to staying here, the price should be higher.
All of Dallas's boat anchors have NMC, so that's interesting.
