I was just to excited to type the thread. It was as exciting as winning in Anaheim last year. Anyway, I scrapped that title now. I realized it myself that the OG title didn't make sense. Peace.

How do you defend 1 on 1 against someone like that? RIP NHL defencemen.

Stat I was unaware of Flames going 10 years since last win in NY. Great job in net Rittich really outstanding performance and the Flames were too notch capilizing on their limited chances.

Big big win. But jeez what a sloppy game by the Flames. One of the worst defensive games by the team that I’ve seen in a long time. It was a lucky win and David Rittich definitely pulled that one out of the fire for us.

Congrats to Johnny on point #300. A couple of absolute beauties tonight.

It's up there, but I thought he played just as well when the Bruins were at the Dome last season. Ended in a loss because he didn't get the same level of goal support.

Of course the first thing Sportsnet shows in the highlights is a shot of the Leafs' GM.

It seemed like Bennett and Neal were benched after Bennett took that penalty that led to the only goal for the Rangers.

Smith giving Rittich some love at the end of the game there. Love it.

If Rittich doesn’t start in Montreal I may have an aneurism.

Just goes to show you - don’t get too worked up about what you see in the preseason. Rittich couldn’t stop a beachball and now he looks like a vezina candidate

Game Takes:
Flames 4 Rangers 1

- Easily Calgary's worst game of the season
- Rittich steals one in a statement game
- Gaudreau scores two to hit 300 points
- Hathaway with two as well
- Brodano broken up.

Rittich played exceptional and Johnny was great. So lucky to have him on our team. It was nice to see the 4th line chip in a provide some secondary scoring.

What happened to TJ Brodie? I thought he found the magic back with Gio in the first few games, but he made 3-4 brutal errors/turnovers. Good thing Valimaki and Andersson have looked like vets out there.
