Should be 4-1, with 2 outs and runners on 1st and 2nd. Now it's going to be a massive innning. Some errors are bigger than others and that's a huge one.

Been awhile since they've been embarrassed like this, so it was bound to happen. I just hope that someone can come out of the pen and eat innings.

Should have just let Anderson keep pitching. This bullpen is looking tired and over worked. Sometimes you need you starter to just eat innings to save your bullpen.
This is the problem with just going by the numbers. There are times when you go with the numbers but sometimes you just have to go with feel and how things have been playing out.
I don't think Montoyo makes these decisions, it is coming from above. I don't think he gets to make in game decisions.

12-1. I think I'll go do something else for a bit.

That 29 put up by Atlanta might look like child's play when all is said an done. Wow.

Gurriel too worried about the TV Dive and missed the catch.

I think the Jays have it right here and are playing to their strengths. Probably could do better in some individuals circumstances, but overall it's a good strategy given the makeup of their team.

Yes, the bullpen has been their strength, but if you keep leaning on it, sooner or later it will catch up to you. And we are starting to see larger and larger cracks in the bullpen wall.

And we got Giles back today and Pearson should be joining the BP soon. Sure I’d like for our starters to go further in games, but I don’t think the good part of the bullpen has been having much issues.

They won't be able to continue winning like they have been unless they get some of the bats back. Not while they continue to trot out Anderson, Roark, Stripling and Ray. They are all just a WHIP nightmare. Scary thing is 3 of those guys are probably back next season haha.
Even Walker is not pitching that great, his low ERA is more of a fluke.
It'd be nice to get Shoemaker back, but even he is not a top of the rotation starter.
Need a big start from Ryu tomorrow. Can't let this spin out of control here. That'd be a shame.

Two very costly errors and some terrible pitching from Anderson, Kay and Waguespack.
Also, most of the best hitters are hurt and deGrom was pitching for the Mets.

Yeah, realistically this game was over at 4-1 with Degrom on the hill. That Jansen error though was truly the catalyst for the lopsided score. Oh well. On to the next.
