Ugh. I thought the Stanley Cup was on today. Why do we need extra days off, let's just finish this!

You got me
You picked Boston, Toronto, Carolina and Vegas.
I picked Florida, Florida, Florida and Florida.

Looks like I'm up 3-0 on you so far... which is kinda weird because you used knowledge and skill when making your picks, and I just went with whatever you didn't pick.

They are only having one day breaks when there is no travel.

Between games 1 and 2 were 1 day, also between games 3 and 4

Otherwise, they switch arenas and so there are 2 days

If it goes deep it will take forever. Especially after that long break between rounds 3 and 4

Like are we supposed to just take your word for it lol

Odd, don't see your Florida pick

You didn't post a pre-series prediction and then said this during game one

Doesn't sound like someone who "picked" the Panthers

Looks like for CP predictions on Panthers series you are going to get one more than me...I will start engraving the trophy for you

I don't think they'll be getting Playoff Bob back. However, they still have a shot, only if Alex Lyon can catch fire immediately and stand on his head for 5 games.

That's kind of the point though... if people want to be defensive of the Panthers, let them. No need to get defensive over their defensiveness.

I'm just having a little fun here guy, I popped the champagne when the Oilers were out...the rest is just building it up so its worth watching because I gotta tell you these playoffs have dragged

If someone is gonna say they picked the Panthers over the Bruins though I want proof!

all I see is Bax and Paulie (joking because Flames luck, lol)

Even Cali said he didn't disagree with the 99.9% picking the Bruins

Should the Knights blow this series I shall be mocked and booed forever more

I picked Florida and Colorado in the finals.

Saying that I wished Florida beat Carolina in their last regular season game so they could avoid Boston in the first round doesn't mean I picked Boston to win. It just means I was more worried about facing Boston than I would have been facing Carolina.

If Vegas wins, you'll be 1-3, and I'll be 3-1. If Florida wins, tho... can it be considered the closest sweep ever, when Florida won two of their series 4-1 and 4-0? I mean those were some pretty lopsided victories for me. Pretty sure we could just call it a sweep.

Death, Taxes and Tkachuk and the Panthers living rent free in Dino's Kitchen are the only 3 things gauranteed in life.

You can’t be serious… even though Florida won those series by a large margin when you look at just the record of the series, I guess you’re right. When you look into a microscope, you’ll see that it took OTW’s and many one goal games to get to where they are. Hardly lopsided.

I get where Dino's coming from. I wish I could say I'd cheer for the Panthers because I still like Bennett, but seeing him and Chucky do well on that team makes me a bit bitter as a Flames fan, so I subconsciously cheer against them. Heck, they made me cheer for the Leafs (well that and because of Gio). So even though I don't like Vegas, I'm hoping they can close it off.

If Tkachuk wasn't on the team I would probably be cheering for them. Even with Maurice as coach. I've never really had any ill feelings towards Bennett and got why he wanted a change. I don't think he really took advantage when he was given an opportunity but he got the Greg Gilbert/Marc Savard treatment with Ward which was bull#### too.

Tkachuk on the other hand had a chance to be the guy and bailed after saying three weeks before he wanted to stay long term.

I’m always astonished by fans who put any weight on what players say to the media about this stuff.

I don't. Which is why I laugh at Oiler fans who say because McDavid says he wants to stay in Edmonton that he's for sure not leaving. They say what they think the fans and media want them to say.

Him saying he wanted to stay three weeks earlier is beside the point he had a chance to be the guy and bailed.

Whatever you say lol

Odd you didn't make your prediction in the series thread like everyone else. Sorry doesn't count

I'm about to go 4-0 in Vegas series...and actually have proof in the series threads

Battered women syndrome

Tkachuk bailed on our team and city, yet you spend countless hours defending his honor

Paraphrasing:

"The NHL has done a terrible job at maintaining interest in the Stanley Cup Finals, I'm a hockey fan and I've lost interest. I couldn't imagine a casual fan even knowing the game is on tonight. They've been playing great high tempo hockey, but the scheduling ruined it".

I couldn't agree more.

I picked the Panthers over the Bruins it wasn't even a joke you knew it was going to happen with a former flame Tkachuk on the Panthers us missing the playoffs the Bruins having a historic season it was obviously going to be him to knock em out.

Here we are.

Being a Flames fan should come with a lifetime of free grief counselling lol.
