Why does everyone think Johnny will suffer under Babcock?
He absolutely excelled under Sutter. I think he even admitted that he plays better with strict authority behind the bench. I have always viewed him that way, but the popular narrative around here is that he is lazy and wants to be lazy, hence the reason for moving to CBJ.
If anything he will have a resurgence next year. Maybe the best version of Johnny has yet to be seen.

If anyone needs to worry, it's Laine.
But it's hard to imagine Babcock doesn't clean up his act, and Jarmo/Davidson seems like a strong pair to demand accountability.

He probably will play better. Is he going to be happy though?
Babcock likely won't be as toxic as he was before but the players will probably still feel like they're walking on eggshells around him. And if the team is still losing, who knows what will happen

How does one change from being a horrible being. Seems like a strange hire.

Might work out for them. Good coach. He will be very good for Johnny, whether he likes it or not. I really hope there's a Lindholm deal here.

Pick #3 and the Blue Jackets hire Commodore so Babcock can destroy him for good 🤣

Dealing both Noah and Elias together (again) seems like a hockey thing that would happen.

I actually think Hanifin is much more likely to wind up in Columbus than Lindholm.

Johnny's dad likes the tough, gruff coaches to keep the youngsters in line.

Will Lindholm want to go there? Looks like Columbus wants to go for it.
