I mean if we're being completely honest, 2000-2009 might have been the creative nadir of every major artistic discipline.

I'm glad I'm not the only person that liked Jennifer's Body. I actually think it's kind of underrated.

Thank you! I think the downfall of the film is it was just marketed horribly upon release. Megan Fox was just coming off Transformers so all they did was go look how hot Megan Fox is, but the movie is not like that at all. The studio even wanted Megan Fox to host an amateur porn site to promote the film.

I think it was a case of bad timing and starring Megan Fox at that time but it actually has a good cast for a horror movie with Amanda Seyfried, Chris Pratt, JK Simmons, etc. It's a solid horror movie that any horror fan should watch.

Yikes, there's a hot take... I'd take 2000-2009's music over the 12 years since.

Might I remind you that 2000-2009 was the era of Ringtone Rap, Pop Punk and Post-Rock?

But I digress.

'95-'09 was the best time for everything.

Technology was around, but wasn't treated like a life preserver.

Sitcoms were great, music was great, gas was cheap, and many of the most classic games and movies came were released. And generally speaking, people were more socially adept. People were more relaxed and society was less divided.

The would have been better off filming this in a house and calling it something totally different and even at that it would have been mediocre.
Movie directors should let go og the crutch of CGI and go back to matte painting backdrops now and then. They don’t look photorealistic, but they look better than bad CGI.

The reputation of this movie has been rising a lot in the recent years, to the extent that it's now considered a bit of a forgotten classic.

Which I think is well earned, it's a fun, interesting movie that was kind of ahead of it's time.

I don’t know what hair removal cream has to do with movies/music but whatever.

Yeah, Jennifer's Body was good. Not for the old spank bank either. It had legit horror thriller clout throuout.

I can't believe in a list of 2000s horror movies I forgot about one of my all time favorites in Mulholland Drive. One of the greatest horror films I've ever seen, it's probably in my top 10 of all time.

In that ballpark. Don't hate that I grew up at truly the best time.

It's one of my all time favorites but I don't consider it a horror movie. More of a thriller/suspense movie.

Watched Beast the other night.

I am a fan of Idris Elba and hated the movie.

Hated the movie Prey as well so a lot of you will probably enjoy this movie.

Would say more but don’t want to spoil it for others.

I was looking forward to Beast and was very disappointed. Special effects were terrible, the acting was terrible.

The 80s movie Cujo puts this piece of S$#t to shame. The movie had so much potential. Youtube would entertain you a lot more than this movie.

I remember nothing about that movie other than one of the best lesbian scenes ever put on film that has remained burned into my brain
