Kirk running home on the past ball I wasn't sure if he would make it!

The mental sharpness of this team, or lack thereof, is really frustrating

Split decision, that ball looked airborne when it left the bat.

Well. 2 runs is something. But that should've been way more. Bad AB from KK. Baserunning mistake from Varsho. And Vlad with another ground ball.

Could've went for the jugular and got into that Yankee pen early. But they're bailing out Gil big time.

Embarrassing that we only came away with 2 runs in an inning where the pitcher can't throw a strike.
Good on Kirk for making that run though! I definitely wasn't expecting him to push it.

Haha ump with the premature punch out on a strike two call then proceeds to blow the actual strike 3 call the very next pitch.

Sportsnet has some snazzy new graphics for the batters coming up at inning end. Finally some money put into their broadcasts.

Good game, though the batting still hasn’t fully awoken. Still concerned.

Always great to beat the stinking Yankees. But this term sure leaves us yearning for more. That should've been a laugher.

On to the next. Win 1 of 2 and they'll finish the homestand above .500.

Good win. Kirk the catalyst.

Bassit really good, though the way he was huffing and puffing in the second inning and getting hit hard, didn't think he was going to make it through 3 or 4.

Garcia lights out as well. But the big bats still tepid.

If the big bats can find some consistency, we might start rolling. It's definitely refreshing to see the rest of the team getting hits to supplement the top of the order's relatively poor showing thus far.

Pitching keeping the Jays half-ass respectable. They need to figure out a lineup in a hurry and Schneider needs to get rid of his "plan" and spreadsheet. So many poorly run games.

I really hope they don't waste this pitching staff.
