Adam Scott and Scott Aukerman just started their new podcast about the music of Bruce Springsteen called "U Springin' Springsteen on my Bean?"
The first episode was their usual brand of music appreciation and goofy comedy. I loved all their previous podcasts (U2, R.E.M., Talking Heads), so I'm really looking forward to this. There were hints that they might do Radiohead or Tom Petty next, so this is a bit of a surprise. Also, Aukerman's Bruce impression is hilarious.
Don't listen if you're just looking for a frank discussion about Bruce. They like to goof around a lot. The one good thing about the strike is they (by that I mean Adam) have time to do this.
The Osbournes have a podcast. Enough said.

Any fans of "How Did This Get Made"? Has it been mentioned before? I've been plowing through quite a few lately and have really started to love these guys and June Diane. Incredibly funny. For movie fans.
Everything Everywhere Daily has become my favourite. They’re short, 15 minutes, and Gary explores fascinating topics. Just listened to the Northwest Passage.

Great choice for the theme of the "Hip Hip Hooray" subpodcast in today's ep.

I like podcasts where the hosts have some kind of expertise on a subject to share or can tell good stories from the experience they've amassed.
When it's people that like listening to themselves talk and don't have an established niche but rely solely on personality.. those ones can be fired into the sun. And there are too many of them

Tom Green moved back to Canada and is now podcasting from a barn. Says his goal is to be able to one day send soup and nuts to audiences through the internet. Such a forward thinker!
The Rest is History is a good listen for fans of Hardcore History. It’s bantering and light in tone, with the two hosts playing off one another for laughs. But their enthusiasm and knowledge of history is genuine. And they drop multiple episodes a week, so even if some subjects don’t grab you there’s loads of choice.
Just interviewed podcaster Craig Baird who does the great Canadian History Ehx. It’s for a piece I’m doing for some publications. If you like Canadian history, he’s the best.

Shannon Doherty's new podcast is quite interesting so far. Especially if you are around her age and watched her career. She's fighting stage 4 breast cancer which has spread to her bones so she talks about that and being a advocate for cancer survivors.
Plus all the dirt from the past, why did she get fired from 90210? Why did she get fired from Charmed? Why has she been married 3 times, why did she do Mallrats?
