Well, the patience in Smith really seems to be paying off! Really good to see him back on top of his game. That's quite the game for any goaltender.

Anyone else know that as soon as Gaudreau lost the puck for a split second and it might have gone offside, that the Flames were bound to score and have it reviewed? Oh well, too bad Lindholm didn't get his hatty, but good on him for getting the only goals in the game.

Intense game again tonight. Love this team. Hope Backlund is ok. Hope Koivu is ok too - it looked a bit dirty by Giordano there, but I want to see another replay of that. Might have been going for the puck.

Should be an interesting game next time we see the Wild. Remember when the Wild games were the most boring ever games? This one sure wasn't. I bet next one will be even better.

Gaudreau at his best might be the the best offensive player in the league.

Great game by Smith, that was awesome to watch.

Lindholm scored a hat-trick in our hearts too, he was on fire tonight.

Staal is gross. Dumba is going to regret that hit on the 15th(?). Hope Backs is alright

That's crappy for Peters. It's not like he sent him out for that.

I could see them making it a roughing or something.

There will be no discipline. Backlund had his head down and Dumba was just following through.

He jumped. I’ve seen worse, but it was a Tooto special.

Tgat said between Dumba, Lomberg and Gio, I thought the Gio knee was the dirtiest of the three.

Well, not sure if Lomberg would be my first choice 6 on 5 with under a minute to go.

If Backlund's head had been turned away instead of looking down, would it still be a clean hit?

Guess it will be the fathers that play golf while the Flames chase for a Cup

And Dumba should get a suspension for that hit and the officials should all have to pay Peters fine because if these incompetent boobs do their job that play never happens.

You guys think Lomberg was out there in the final minute? Coach sent him out there to go after Dumba. This is a team with a history of cheap shots against the Flames.

No matter what you think of the incident, Lomberg did what was asked of him.
