Of course, the average relative has one ovary and one testicle.
I was told this by a statistician. He had one foot in the fire and the other in a bucket of dry ice, but on average, he was comfortable.

lol I'm just gonna leave it...you can't just assume these days
Lindholm shutting down McDavid or Nate in a playoff series seems, unlikely was the point I was getting at

That's fair. But that's also a very high bar to set.
Fortunately, it's not likely the Canucks will face both. Moneypuck only gives the Avs a 26% chance of making the third round. The only way the Canucks and Avs meet earlier is if one of them falls to a wild-card spot, which is also pretty unlikely.
Anyway, if I'm facing the Oilers in the playoffs, Draisaitl is the one I worry most about shutting down.

Not that I'm suggesting that it's looking like a good deal for Vancouver, lol.

He's been dominated by both players in a playoff series where the Flames were the favourite. Not sure what extra defensive skill he's bringing now, if anything he looks worse at all facets of the game now

Lindy is a really situational player who cannot elevate his own game and is completely dependent on others to lift him up. The Flames dodged a huge bullet by not overpaying him to stay.

Lindholm played RW with Monahan and Gaudreau his first season.
Edit: seems I was a few hours late telling you this.

I still think he gets long term and big money from Columbus. They're desperate for guys to play there so they'll overpay and hope Johnny and Lindy reawaken eachother. Good shelter for Fantilli too. My guess is 7x7.5 from them

Despite very cushy minutes from Huska, Kuzmenko has kind of disappeared. Hope he bounces back next season so that the Flames can get something for him at the trade deadline. A 39 point pace with the Flames at his cap hit is not going to interest many GMs.

7 years for 7 and change. Two-way Rh center who wins face offs. 7 mil isn't a huge hit in the current cap.

Kuzmenko is a cap dump. If we get anything it will be a steal.

I would prepare for a return of maybe a 3rd and 5th for Kuzmenko at next years deadline based on his play.
Anything more than that would be great, would probably expect less.

Lindholm will have to settle for 6 or 6.5 on a long term deal. No say that number gets pushed up.
He went from 42 to 22 to now 14 goals. He has trouble building chemistry with his linemates.
This is Dennis Schroeder bad.

Best thing can happen is Kuz finds a home here and starts to produce. Trade Mang at next years draft
