Yeah, Lindholm’s game has collapsed.

Dude cost himself a lot of money, and saved the Flames from making a terrible mistake.

Lindholm has been a regular topic on Vancouver sports radio. Sat was talking about how the Canucks are desperately trying to find players who will work with him as he couldn't play with Pettersson and couldn't play with Miller and are now stuck with trying him on line 3.

He can't play with Huberdeau either. He could only play with Gaudreau and Tkachuk? I can't even remember who his linemates were when he came over from Carolina because Monahan was centering the top line.

Lindy is a really situational player who cannot elevate his own game and is completely dependent on others to lift him up. The Flames dodged a huge bullet by not overpaying him to stay.

Kuzmenko for Lindholm straight up! Has to be tonight to give Connie enough time to flip him for a future Bruins 1st.

Lindholm was the top line RW with Johnny and Mony.

Chucky was with Backlund on another line

His linemates were Monahan and Gaudreau when he came over. He played right wing.

We're pretty fortunate that Lindholm didn't sign since I believe the Flames indeed offered him a contract for I'm assuming 8 more years in the 7ish range. What a bad one that would've been!

Dodged a bullet for sure. I feel like the offer might have even been 8ish or more.

They were talking on the Kipper & Borne podcast about Lindholm and how he isn't a fit on either of their top 2 lines unfortunately. Sounds like VAN is going to try and go after Guentzel now and likely let Lindholm walk in the summer.

In a tough season, at least we can milk this win.

Yep I imagine Lindholm was offered an 8 by 8. Time to start being real careful on these 8 year deals.

I would love to see Lindholm sign in Columbus in the off season. Get him and John both fired up. Nice rink and I love that part of Merica.

He was playing on the wing, didn't he?

Lindholm is at the same level as his cousin Jarnkrok now

That’s worth 3-4M?

Loved him at his best here, but you could just tell handing him a blank cheque at this stage of his career would have been a huge mistake.

Not even going to make comparisons to Kuzmenko, I just didnt want to anchor him here.

I think at some point in the very near future he is going to sincerely regret not taking what the Flames offered him.

Thats going to cost him.
