Completely agree. Everyone knew what Trump was about. Hillary tried to run a campaign based on not offending anyone. Her message, if there was one, was too vague and too vanilla to resonate with the average person.

Also consider the Medicine Hat MP by-eledtion. I think Stan Sakamoto may have won but for the appearance of Trudeau. His appearance polarized the election.
