Honestly, that's victim blaming. The caveman is the problem here; not the 100 other people that stared at him with looks of pure evil hatred following his outbursts.
And then of course he did that thing that makes you want to throat punch him - staring at the TV pretending to be unaware of the annoyance of all the other people because he's just so special being totally locked into the game as though his outburst wasn't worthy of smashing my pint glass across his face

The kind that shows all those around that they're a super duper fan and their elation at a 20 year old kid they don't know shooting a hunk of rubber past another 20 year old kid they don't know is worth interrupting all those around them[/B]. Gotta show the bar this major life event just happened and that their experience of this insane happening - a goal in hockey - is worth inserting themselves like a barking seal into my date.
Stfu with your yipping, yelling, clapping, banging, etc. At a sports bar in the play offs or something where that's the vibe then sure. But in a moderately quiet pub where you're the only guy there to watch the game? Fk off and stay our of my evening you main character worthless sack of #### who has tied your identity to a stupid game like some pea-brained tribal moron. I don't carry on like a banshee in public when something that makes me happy happens. I also don't bellow disappoint at a volume in excess of the rest of the din of wherever I am when something doesn't go my way.
There's no such thing as a sports-fan pass exempting you from social norms controlling your screeches and banging just because you get off on watching young men play games. Next prick that does this where I am I'm going to tell him to stfu in my loudest voice with my most aggressive posture possible. I'm big and have no fighting skills, so best believe I'll be ready to run if he calls my bluff, but I'm going to try this anyway...I'll be hailed a hero by the vast majority of people who are sick of these beaver-rodent men who keep slapping their tail when I'm just trying to chill out at a pub.

Sir, you're on a hockey forum.

Way too many parents don’t even try to enforce instruction/rules on their children. Dance, art, music, gym class etc, parents just into their phone or lalaland while their children do whatever the hell they want. It’s brutal man.

Throw me in the camp of not really liking it. I love me a good chicken sandwich. Dragged my family to a mall in Honolulu to get it last April. Super mid. A spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's is better.
I chalked that up to just getting a dud, so I'm going to try again for sure. Was a totally disappointing sandwich, though. Gave my money to a bunch of Christian bigots for nothing...but I'll give them one more chance, those rascals.

Wendy's chicken sandwich is way worse now. They really, really cheapened that thing to oblivion.

Yeah, same as Sliver, I figured it was just the name of the chain and that they were a standard chicken place like Popeyes. Also, they sell chicken strips, so they aren't bound by their name.

Wendy's as a whole. The jbc is a shadow of its former self, and barely edible.

Aren't chicken strips typically made from chicken filets(tenders) though? Even if they are pressed chicken or chicken parts they are 'filet' shaped.

I think it’s just for mayonnaise delivery. And they apply it to the outside of it.

Yes, he knows his audience. You don't get sports fans to be quieter by complaining on a knitting forum.

Hmm, I thought full chicken breast meat, but upon googling it seems it's more common to just use the filets. So in that case their menu makes sense. I won't be racing over in any event. Chicken sandwiches are so good at multiple places already, and people who go to Chick-Fil-A seem to suggest this isn't worth the hype.
So I'll skip the police blocked off line-ups backed onto McLeod for now.

If Sliver is in the pub right now, and the Flames/Sabres game is on, his gears are unlikely to be ground.

Damn that's too bad. Last thing I had was the chicken sandwich, the mayo tasted weird and was watered down. Tiny piece of lettuce and the chicken was weird.

Knitters are pretty laid back but I’d advise you not to mess with the quilters.
I quit Wendy’s when there dropped the garlic bread sticks from their salads.
