^^Those are really nice. I still think there will be a small amount of black in the new threads, as part of the striping and likely outlining the Flaming C. Not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing.

Those are basically what the Flames should be playing in. Adding the round patch on the shoulders would be good too, but not the kind of thing that seems missing if it's not there. What's there now is all good.

Nice work! I could really get behind that last set of jerseys.
Use the black C, 2004esque jersey as the 3rd. No piping, no flags and no adidas triple stripe. Clean and simple is perfect. Damn I hope the new silks end up looking close to this.

I wish there was some kind of way to capture the energy that will be created by fans who hate whatever the new jersey designs end up being. I could probably go off-grid for decades.

Perhaps I should start a different thread if the Flames are indeed going to make (likely small) uniform changes to be shown at the draft. This thread is for ideas or full redesigns... But in any case - I found the following tweet perhaps informative on the scope of changes some teams are undergoing, and the possible scope of what the Flames might do:
"Sabres jersey changes include going from navy back to royal blue"
"Also noted, all silver will be removed, including piping and accents"
"These details were apparently confirmed by someone on the stations staff who spoke with an NHL or Adidas contact."

Sabres just need to go retro and be done with it.
Based on the description of removing the silver and piping and going back to royal blue, they basically are going retro. Hopefully they go back to the six-stripe socks too.
Interesting that the Sabres are switching from Navy back to Royal blue while the Oilers are apparently doing the opposite.
