It's the White C. This may be heretical to long time fans but I've only followed hockey since the Flames had a black C. I wonder what the red jersey would look like if the C was black instead of white. All of the other white parts would probably have to be swapped to Black as well, otherwise there would be too many colours.

Also, I wonder what it would look like if it was like Stockton's third jerseys, a red C on black. That would look pretty good imo. The striping pattern on Stockton's third is kind of awful but with the stripes on these jerseys I think it could look really good.

Heresy! Changing to a black C, making it a black jersey, or even adding any black at all would ruin that amazing jersey.

We're the Flames, not the Charcoals. I really dislike the black C.

While the red and black jerseys admittedly look nice, they make us look like wannabe-Devils.

Flames are white, red and yellow/gold, and everyone knows you can make gorgeous jerseys with those colours. That's what we should stick with.

I think the issue with the red jersey there is the "short sleeves" effect. It works with the white jersey, but on the red, the white forearms aren't doing it for me. Or the white bottom, the white on the home jersey doesn't work nearly as well as the red does in the away jersey.

I'd also shrink the logo a bit, it's too big and dominating the front. I like the white one but I'm just not feeling the red one. I like the attempt at trying new things with the original colour scheme though, great visual presentation quality too

I've always been partial to having a little black in the uniform, but haven't been able to unsee or forget this post since reading it. It's...it's somewhat true, and I'm now more open to pure retro styling. These last ones from above are great.

That is about is close to perfection as I've seen. Even if there were some minor adjustments to the arm and waist stripes or the socks, that is almost perfect. No diaper effect, no black, no flags, no piping, no nonsensical shapes etc.
