What was he supposed to do? Let him come back, just stop running? I don't get it.
Yes. The defender must also be looking at the ball and attempt to play the ball not prevent the receiver from coming back.

Dominant defense again from Seattle, kept the Eagles to 139 yards. Since regaining full health, Wagner mainly, the defense been getting better and peaking/regaining last year
's form at right time and Sanchez had no answers.

And Wilson put up some numbers and moved the ball down the field with a bunch of 20+ yard plays.

Arizona hanging in there, full credit to them. Crazy that the Rams are only a game out of the same record as SF.

This is why some penalties need to reviewable. That's a clean hit and should be a pick 6 but because it was a violent collision it's a 15 yard penalty. Ouch.

Its getting there. The rule rewards defenselessness though.

BTW, today's Rams coin toss captains were the six active roster players the team acquired using picks from the 2012 RG3 trade

It's a mess. The leaks and poison since before the season began appear to be coming from the front office - specifically owners. That, missing 2 pro-bowl ILBs, the offense as a whole taking a step back and especially Kaep, it is just ugly.

I thought when Jed York took the reins of the club that he would follow in his Uncle's steps and make the team more of a bonded group again. Instead it appears like he is more like his parents and spreads division. But why he would do it in the season the new stadium they battled a decade to build was opening, or the season before they host a SuperBowl, it is baffling.

I've been on this rollercoaster before and the trip down is steep.

The Cards just keep getting more and more injuries.

I think it's safe to say we make the playoffs, but don't get far.

I feel bad for the Cards (especially Carson Palmer). They don't look the same without him.

Meanwhile, the snow is starting to fall pretty hard at Lambeau. I can't wait to watch them thrash the Falcons.
