Even Cassel may be able to complete deep passes with Chris Johnson in for Asomugha.

Well Aso is a big difference in every game he plays, if he is out against Cassel I don't think it would make that big of a deal (compared to if he was out against someone like Rivers or even Orton)
they would probly move Huff to corner as well, his pass coverage this year as a FS has been excellent
very excited for the game next week, two great running teams it should be a battle of the lines

The Redskins big-name player Donovan McNabb, meanwhile, was benched for the final two possessions. Coach Mike Shanahan said Rex Grossman was more comfortable with the team's 2-minute offense.
"I thought that was the best scenario for us to win," Shanahan insisted.

Crazy, Pittsburgh gets a big turn over looking like they've turned the tide of this game. Than Miller coughs it up and the Saints are back at mid field up by 3.
Pretty fierce defensive battle thats opened up a bit here in the second half.

McNabb has struggled but it's pretty mind boggling that they'd turn to Rex Grossman in that situation. This is the final year in McNabbs deal, and Shanahan has a pretty iron clad contract. If there is a strong possibility of a lockout next year I wonder if the Red Skins don't bring him back after this year.

Well maybe not directly, but Chicago signs McNabb as a free agent than trades Cutler...who knows. If McNabb is available, there should be a few teams after him.

Huge win for the Saints tonight. Keeps them close to ATL and, uh, Tampa?

Saints should go on a big run here. They have a pretty easy schedule remaining with only a few tough games.

This is without doubt the toughest season I've seen in 20 years to pick games. It's not even half way through the season and there is only one team left with a single loss. It's not completly unthinkable that a lot of these 5-2 teams could be 5-3 by the time they reach the half way mark on their schedule. You really do need to forget what you knew last week to pick the winners the next week in this league.

I still think that the Chargers win the AFC West, just a feeling though. KC should win the thing, but they are just so inexperienced, and that will likely come into play at some point. The Raiders still have to play Pittsburgh, Miami and Indy....tough road.
It does look like 9-7 could win two different divisions in the NFC this year, though thats unlikely to happen. Im still not sold on Tampa, but I may be way off on that one.....they should of lost yesterday though.
Strangest NFL season I ever recall either way.

NFC South won't be 9-7, either Tampa Bay or Atlanta will get 10 or 11 wins.
Tampa led all the way yesterday only to be caught by Arizona with a few minutes left. Freeman seems to have a knack for the 4th quarter 2 minute drill comeback which is a sign of a great QB.

It's kind of the norm for an NFL season. We've been spoiled the last couple of years with undefeated teams going deep into the season but before that, it was just as wild as it is this year!

I wouldn't be shocked if the Chargers have another great 2nd half and win the division but one thing that's not in their favor is that they have already lost once to the Chiefs and Raiders so they really have to win the 2nd game against each team (very doable of course). I'm just happy that the Raiders are competitive and putting up points and yards on offense as the 2nd best offense in the league.

Massive win for the Saints, the defense was great again, especially considering they were missing their top four corners. Nice to see Brees get his mojo back in the second half, pretty tentative and way too many screens in the first.
Alot of inept football yesterday, though the line play on both sides of the ball by the Raiders was very impressive. Easily one of the worst coaching performances I have ever seen turned in by Chan Gailey, as he snatched defeat from victory several times. The Jets aren't winning anything with that offense, nice win by GB's D.

Chiefs squeaked out a win to arguably the worst team in the league at home. In the past this might have upset me, however considering the last three seasons everything right now is gravy. The Chiefs are incredible at running the ball and stopping the run. Not so good at passing the ball or stopping the pass.
Yes they play a favorable schedule, however I didn't see anyone heaping sympathy on the Chiefs when they went 2-14 in one of the toughest schedules in the league.
My biggest concern at the moment is Todd Haley's obsession with gambling on fourth down. Almost cost the Chiefs the game yesterday.

Could make for a very, very interesting last 2 or 3 weeks of the season if there are 3 or 4 teams in most divisions still with a shot.

Went 8-3 picking games, screwed with the Chiefs, Steelers and Broncos. Yes, it's been tougher to pick games but there are a lot of resources out there to do research. Docsports or therxforum are very good places to talk to others about picks. I found this week to be the easiest week to pick. Jaguars, Rams and Bucs were no-brainers.
Hoping to see Texans tonight to cover or win.
