Favre got drilled and is out of the game.....ouch.

Good news is it's 1st and goal from the 2 for Minny and they can get within a few points.

Not a Favre fan, but it's kind of classless for Pats fans to cheer his injury.

That looked like a potential broken jaw, seemed like they were trying to immobilize it. Not sure how that's not a flag in the new NFL, I mean I saw a few flags today for patting a QB on the head.

21-18 Patriots.

What a catch by Harvin! Right back in it.

I would like to see Jackson come back and win the game for Minny.

33-25 Chargers leading the Titans. Rivers throwing bombs.

Raiders up 23-0 on Seattle. Jason Campbell has looked good the last 2 weeks.

Yeah, that was a Personal foul given a few of the other calls made today. Farve has just been getting killed this year.

Chargers with another special teams faux pas that keeps the Titans within 8. I hope it ends up losing them the game.

Raiders...don't forget about them, they're killing the Seahawks.

Wow...some really questionable non-calls in this game all of a sudden.

Bad year for officials.

Seahawks are so different home and away, such an extreme.

It's standard pro-Patriot officials

I hear that all the time, and i dont really buy into it. Though I sure understand why it seems like it.

That non-call on Welker getting tackled before the ball got there is an example of the reverse actually.

Just seems like the officials are confused these days...dunno why and maybe that has nothing to do with it. Too many changed rules or ones that didnt pop up much before? Its just weird.

Although on that play a call or non call didn't mean anything. There was another flag on the play to give the auto first down and it was a half the distance to the goal line. But me thinks there will be a fine, and a possible suspension.

See, now if the Patriots get a touchdown, it's a suitable time to say the Vikings are in trouble.

I still think they were in trouble at 21-10 with like 1 minute left in the 3rd not because of being down 11 with 16 minutes left, but the way the game was going.

But it's a moot point.

Where do you go from here? Being a 2-5 team is obviously a big disappointment. I know you want Childress fired. Do player changes need to be made as well in your opinion?

Couple of theories to run at you.

A) Officials are too old, can't keep up with play.

B) Game is too fast for human eyes (whether old or new).

C) Slo-mo replays makes refs look bad, making their job impossible since they have to make split second decisions while the tv watching person gets to see 10 slo-mo replays.. Refs made mistakes in the past, we just didn't have to technology to slow it down to look at it.

D) Video review takes officials off the hook so they don't feel they have to be right anymore. They're not concentrating.

Awesome, Chargers hold on to beat Tennessee 33-25. Titans drop to 5-3. The winner of the Texans/Colts game tomorrow in Indy will be in 1st place in the division with a 5-2 record. Probably going to be the toughest game of the year.

The the the.... Raiders?

Back-to-back stunningly good performances. 7 sacks by the Raiders. I'm going to the game next week v. KC. KC and the Raiders in a battle for first in the AFC West? Who woulda thunk?

Edit: 8 sacks to finish. 33-3. Awesome.

Hopefully the Raiders crush the Chiefs next week.

If they keep this up, they've got a chance to make the post-season. Hopefully Asomugha is alright.

Totally destroyed the Hawks. Over 500 yards offense and 8 sacks. Will be interesting next week as if the Raiders can stop the run (tall task) they shouldn't have a problem handling Cassel.

If Asomugha can't play next week it's almost like the gods are going to give the west to the Chiefs. Easiest schedule in the league, last week they face a 4th string QB that was working construction the week before, this week Buffalo couldn't get out of their own way and should have won. Even Cassel may be able to complete deep passes with Chris Johnson in for Asomugha.
