Unless they sign Iginla or Jagr I want them to be done.

Maybe it is because he decided to keep Dickbutt.

I'm honestly too lazy to change it.

Hard to say specifically but technically Bennett's stats are better with Gaudreau than without. Then again it's been better with anybody not named Brouwer, Engelland and Jokipakka.

#Leafs apparently talking trade with Colorado, Calgary and the Rangers. Details sketchy. But, looking to off-load salary for a d-man.
Don't think we would trade a d but could take money back for a price

Am I interpreting that correctly? Wanting to off-load salary to one of the above teams so that they can then pursue a dman? Not necessarily to trade for a dman from one of those teams...?

That's a weird tweet.
Is he saying that the Leafs are looking to off-load salary and get back an NHL defenseman? Considering the price of defense right now, off-loading salary and getting back a useful player would require some pretty serious compensation.

I think Bozak is the player that makes the most sense for them to unload after signing Marleau. Has some good size, but we really don't have need for him. He's a center isn't he?

He's exactly what the Flames were saying they'd still like to add to their forward group via free agency.
Right shot
Can play center or wing
Can take face-offs
Leafs would have to retain salary though, and I'm not sure what the Flames could or would give up in a deal like that.
Leafs fans seem to despise the guy (at least Leaf fans on here) but he puts up points, wins face offs and has decent underlying stats. Not sure what the problem is.

I think they'll look to unload Matthews before he asks for a huge raise next year...

You would think Vegas is the one unloading D men. Guys like Stoner and Garrison will have nowhere to play if Vegas can't part with them.

Perhaps a Bennett for Nylander swap? would be interesting to build a deal around those two pieces. I love Bennett but Nylander Provides a RH shot that can play wing and play center.
I am just fine keeping Bennett though, I love his motor, compete and his edge much more than I like RH shot.

How about Bozak for Kulak?
Bozak might be a perfect right winger for Johnny and Mony.

A lot of Ontario media have been reporting for a while now that Leafs will likely unload Bozak because of his contract. That is not breaking news though to anyone.

I don't see how this helps Toronto with their cap issues. Nylander is still playing on his ELC for another season, while Bennett will almost certainly come in on a new deal closer to a $2.5 m hit. If anything, this trade would make things monumentally more difficult for the Maple Leafs.
