I've been listening to jedi mind tricks lately, for some reason I've ignored them for a while and I've been missing out. The album "Army of the Pharaohs" is ten times the rap album that "Recovery" is... especially when you consider that Recovery has pseudo-rap songs like Love the Way You Lie on it. Not Afraid is rap, I'll admit that, but its main stream as hell and has pretty lame lyrics..."I'm not afraid to take a stand"... terrible. CP is the only place where I've heard those songs praised as brilliant rap songs.

Wow... glad you decided to judge the entire album off TWO RADIO SINGLES! Good job buddy.
But in reality the word play and multi syllable rhymes used in this album are untouchable. He has actually matured lyrically over the years and has even surpassed his best rhymes from prior albums. Some examples of very subtle, easily missed punchlines:

I listened to eminem from the first tome I heard My Name Is. Stopped listening when he releases encore because I thought he had changed his flow. Thought he became a singer/rapper. Never heard a song from relapse. Only DLed recovery because I was digging some eminem and I'd exhausted his first three albums.
Needless to say I think recovery put Em back near the top IMO. Cinderella man, 25 to life, so bad, almost famous, the rhianna song and untitled are amazing.

Relapse has some good tunes, probably more than Encore. If you're that into Eminem you'd probably like a bunch of Relapse as well.
Well that was entertaining. I'm not sure but it sort of seemed like Em hadn't been on stage in a while and was a bit nervous? He pulled it out though and I hope that's the first of many future live performances.
