Eminem - Recovery Released

This album is getting lots of love and obviously hate too but that goes with the territory. What's the CP consensus? People are talking like it could be up there with the Slim Shady LP, Marshall Mathers LP and Eminem Show.

The whole album has leaked but here are a couple songs on youtube (they will probably be taken down soon)


Real song but high-pitched.. not sure why they do that.

It seems all the others have been taken down for now.

Meh, I wasn't impressed by any of those songs. I actually was a huge fan of the last relapse. For me it was a return to the same flow on the early albums.

Eminem singing on track's doesn't do it for me.

EDIT: the second verse on the last video about 1:25 in, reminds me of the eminem I like.

Eminem was right.....his last album was absolute crap.

Meh, the music sounds like vintage Eminem. Nothing really new here.

However, I have to say - for a guy that's almost 40, he does a damn good job looking like a kid 20 years younger.

I actually liked the Slim Shady LP, although I was just a young teen when it came out. Haven't really heard/listened to much since then other than the one where he raps about spilling his mom's spaghetti

Name one rapper that is alive and better than him. Eminem is in the same class as Tupac and Biggie IMO.

I don't agree. Marshall Mathers LP was great. I didn't like the Slim Shady LP at all. The Eminem show was better than both. It's the albums after that where things started to go downhill fast, IMO.

I've heard the whole album and I can tell you it is incredible.

All personal preference bro. Lyrically (with the exception of Nas) none of those rappers touch Eminem. But hey to each his own.
