i think the only company on par with Blizzard in terms of cinematic trailers is Bioware

Thanks!!

Friggin Dell puts the Activision logo up. I know they merged, but Blizzard retained their autonomy, and a Blizzard logo on a product is far more attractive to a consumer than Activision.

Some might say I'm being picky, but these are the little details that stand out to me.

You? Picky and anal about little details? Nooooooooo....

I noticed it too and I will admit that it bothered me as well for some reason.

I wish I had seen the contents of the Collectors Edition earlier. I'd have pre-ordered that instead of a normal version but now it's too late.

Nah, it isn't just you, it pisses me off to. They have nothing to do with the game at all except perhaps implementing stupid ideas to blizzard, and then they put their ugly stupid logo on. FO Activision, just die already.

For those of you interested in just buying the digital version directly from Blizzard, you can pre-download the entire game right now. It's a 6.2GB download, so it's a good idea. You don't have to purchase it right now to download it, either. Just download now to beat the rush, and then buy the activation key on the 27th.

It's Starcraft II - who cares about the logo?

It's driving nuts having the entire game sitting on my HD right now, but I can't play it till tuesday.

I was kinda thinking that too. Still, $100 for 1/3 of a game? Yikes.

It's not 1/3 of a game.

It is a bit steep but you get 100% of multiplayer and 30-mission Terran campaign.

Original Starcraft was also 30 missions but split into 10 per race.

I am looking forward to when the game is complete and there are 90 singleplayer missions. Epic. Will probably set you back $250-300 over 3 years if you buy all the collector's editions though.

The guy with the beret? Cause I am talking about the guy with the beret, not the long dreads.
Blatant lie is blatant

Did you consider Starcraft and Brood War each 50% of a game? Do you consider Dawn of War and its Expansions as 25% of a complete game.

It's 30 missions, the same length as Brood War and the original so it's hard to get upset and say it's not complete. It's not like you can't play as the Zerg or Protoss in multiplayer.

There are three installments to Starcraft II

Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty is the first one and contains the Terran campaign.

The second one will be Zerg which is called Heart of the Swarm and the final installment will be the Protoss which is Legacy of the Void. Some people feel Blizzard is being cheap and releasing the single game as three games, when each game is as long or longer than the original Starcraft.

Alright, seems I hit a nerve. It's not 1/3 of a game on account of having full multiplayer... but it's still not complete without the other 2 campaigns.

Basically it is a full game with two expansion packs already planned.

So really if they waited and released all 3 as one, StarCraft 2 wouldn't be out until 2016.

Makes sense to release one now to make $1000000000000000.
