Practices would be good, but I'm not sure how we'd be able to do that.
Is there a practice area in the online lobbies?
Otherwise, we'd just have to get into some games and see how they play out.
As for the coaching strategies...I'm not sure how effective they'd be, as with all the players under user control, they'd only go where their players want them to go.
We just have to try things out I guess, we'll develop strategies eventually.

yeah, i think the biggest key to strategy is having mics so we can communicate in real time. i think as far as practices we would just have to set aside a time a couple times a week where several of us can play together and get more familiar with each other.

btw - here is the address for the site: www.cpfatas.com

its only 5 hours old, so don't hate on it. once we finalize a name i will probably get a top level domain for us.

With the fact that all players will be graded according to positioning/team play/stats, the initial strategies may be important, as the giant blue arrow pointing out where you should be may become important in quick games where not everybody who's practiced before helps out. I wonder if there are also custom break out plays as well, and how those might be handled.

Afterall, you want to keep getting those A/A-'s to increase your own players ranking as well.

Hey guys, seeing as I'm on lockdown until November, I can't really contribute to this like I'd want to.
But if there's an extra forward spot, I'll take it!

I'm not sure, but once you create the team, I think you'll need to send invites...unless I am missing something.

Nice job Dobbles.

Are you going to have a registration setup for this site or is it accesible to everyone and anyone?

i am going to have the site be viewable by everyone, but i was thinking of adding registration so that people can log in and post if they can play on specific nights. dont want random peopel be able to post pretending they are someone else. but i do hate making people register for a different site.

Team play is AMAZING! I can't wait to play with you all!

As I discovered, keeping your position really is key to winning. My team and I gave up odd man rushes when we all chased the puck.

You HAVE to go with registering. Your thoughts on the matter are correct...always trust your instincts.

Make sure to make the team private. Last thing we want is a bunch of Oilers and Casucks fans trying to join our team out of envy!
