I’ve made a single post in all the other Oilers’ series threads prior to the series ending and that wont change here. I’ll enjoy this series as getting to the finals is nothing to take for granted as these chances don’t come along very often. Proud of the effort especially after not being given a chance last round.

I have a lot more hope in the Panthers than I did the Canucks or Stars.
A lot of people said Dallas was on another level, I just never really saw that. I thought their win the last 2 series was more because of goaltending than them being great.
I don't think the Panthers are going to be content in losing twice in a row in the finals. I think the motivation will be there.

I know Canucks fans went on CHED but you'll have to remind me of the last time Flames fans called in to troll the station.
Mocking the Oilers on a Flames forum is one thing. Oilers fans have a special desire that requires them to pump their own tires on their rival teams message boards.

I have never been to a Oilers board at all let alone to mock them about anything. Like I said in 04 after SJ I certainly wasn't seeking out Oiler fans online to brag...in fact I wasn't thinking about them at all.
Odd that Weitz's team wins a big game and the first thing he wants to do is come to CP and troll me (his words) Its okay we know this poster...if the Oilers win he will be here to gloat and if they lose its see ya next fall.

Watching Panthers highlights again, the key difference that sticks out to me is that they don't look afraid of the middle of the ice and the dirty areas that Dallas seemed to avoid until the latter stages of game 6 with the season on the line.

And they forecheck like crazy. Nurse, Bouchard, Ceci and Kulak like turning the puck over whenever there’s heavy pressure. Tkachuk and Bennett are gonna be like wild animals on the forecheck
