lol. 2 game point streak! even though Markstrom cost us, we still got a point against an eastern team!
We are heading to the playoffs no matter how crappy our goalie plays.

There is a confidence issue and a work ethic issue. You have to keep skating and winning puck battles until the game is over. Like Estrada said they decided they’d won and basically stopped digging and the Sens took advantage.
After the third goal I was sure they’d dig in, send the puck down to the other end and forecheck hard. nah, they let them into the zone easily.

Leading to the two ENGs they had chances to win the puck and they didn’t. Even the third goal was a 50 50 chance to get the puck and they let Batherson have position and get to the puck first.

Markstrom wears the OT goal, and we can debate the 2nd. But they sure didn’t toughen up.

Tre should explore trading JM's contract (retained if necessary)

Vegas? Toronto(Murray)?

Coyotes close out the game in Nashville and do flames a favor. Course they can't take advantage

Ridiculous to put piss away a win like this.

Derek Willis is a complete donkey. Guy just can't be real about this team.

Haha coming from you is rich.

But hey, a career 2.71 and .910 is hardly the hall of famer your drooling over.

Sutter has said the starter will get 3500-3800 minutes it's set in stone it's just those minutes are going to the wrong goalie.

Just stubborn coaching.

I live in Lower mainland and know the city and fans quite well. Fans here liked him during his stint. He won them a playoff series over a defending champ. He got injured in the bubble and Demko broke thru.

If Demko wasn’t young and as promising as he was, Markstrom would have stayed in Vancouver.

Trade Markstrom to a team that's really trying to tank. He'd be the goalie I would want.

Even if they somehow make it they’re gonna get swept.

Not much of a favour, would rather finish 10th than 9th if we are going to miss the playoffs.

Markstrom is the difference between Flames leading the division, and (likely) being out of playoff spot by end of the night.

We are going to have to throw in 1st and 2nd rounders...

So NO! I guess a $6mil backup isn't that bad considering our starter makes $750k. $6.75 mil for our goalies is fine.

Sutter seemed very defensive of the team during his post game. Team is likely very fragile.

That last one was just brutal.

I wish we had Stutzle.
when the Flames weren't allowing any chances he looked good lol

I'm not sure how anyone can watch that and not say the goalie blew a point
