But with the numbers we have today the Flames have more high danger chances in the series in all situations than the Oilers do.

Series is 2-1 Edmonton.

Need maximum effort tonight from all.

Perhaps.

I just don't see the higher scoring % due to a heater. I think that the goaltending quality has a played a part in this. So I am really hoping that markstrom can fall back into the quality of his numbers seen during the season.

#NHL is aware of this post and the apparent targeting of #LetsGoOilers players. Safe to say Player Safety / Hockey Ops / Officiating Depts are in communication and will keep an eye out for the same in Game 4 and beyond.

Did the Oilers send multiple copies of this picture with Flames faces photoshopped in for Kurt Angle and Draisaitl in for John Cena?

I get the admiration that some fans have for McDavid, but until he learns to play defense, no amount of offense is going to make up the difference. I'd still put Bergeron and Crosby ahead of him as current hockey players.

Uhh yeah no prob. Pretty snarky reply but you do you. I was just pointing out that you can advance stats yourself into all kinds of pretzel logic all you want but none of it really matters unless they win. At the end of the day, I hope you're right though and that it is a trend that comes to fruition or eventually shows that the dam will break. But it's tough to care to be honest until you see the results of what you're saying on a consistent basis. Advanced stats always will be a way to make yourself feel better for losing. While winning will always be the stat that matters when winning.

4-2 final.

Jarnkrok - 3
Backlund -1 (to make it 3-1 late. He then looks through the crowd of buck teeth, disease, women with bruises on their legs, gobbing fans to search out and salute the idiot that was harassing he and Mangi in the hotel elevator.

The Leon ankle thing may or may not be valid from the Flames perspective but it's classic posturing in the playoffs. Every team does it in different ways.

If I am Sutter I will tell my team to play hard, play physical but be very wary of attacking anything ankle related as the refs will be on the look out. Random hacks and swings towards the feet will be called and it doesn't benefit our game.

Didn’t know about the chirping/harassment. Had to look this up. So cringey and classless.

3-0 Flames. 1 goal in each period. Lindholm, Tkachuk and Toffoli.

And your reply of the "the series is 2-1 Edmonton" was a quality add to the discussion after I laid all the high danger break down?

Yup. Check him hard into the boards and do it often. It doesn't have to be a whack to the ankle to make him hurt more. Lots of good solid checks will put him off his game and maybe one of them will tweak the injury and make him more acutely aware of his ankle pain.

Telling a Flames ultrafan the series is 2-1 after he laid out some advanced stats isn't snarky? You do you Mr Coffee.

Around, but too young to care about them. Still, the organizations are just businesses offering an entertainment product. Part of the product is getting to feel like you're part of it, and people are part of the fan community that builds around the team, but imo nobody should feel like they're going to be devastated if the team loses to the Oilers. It's not like anyone has to move to Edmonton if the Flames lose. In the end, it's just a game for fun and entertainment.
