RHS RW Goal Scorer, nice.
He just has resting b1tch face, no big deal, and something many here should be able to identify with.
The instant hand wringing can't be a fun way to be a fan.

Speaking of Instagram, Harvard Men's Hockey just congratulated him on Instagram for being the highest NHL draft pick in the history of their program.
So yeah, he's not just a first-round pick. He is the highest pick in the history of Harvard. It might be a bit premature to generalize from players who were much later picks.
Choosing a Harvard degree over a couple of years in the AHL is a no-brainer. Choosing a Harvard degree over a couple of years in the NHL, burning off your ELC so you can start making serious money, not so much.

Disagree. First round picks have a quicker path to the NHL. Sure, they can hold off but if they wait 4 years to get their contract they are burning money.
The risk of a player playing their whole college increases by how much of a project they are. If it was prevalent in the first round we would see it more.

I’m more tired of the complaining about the complaining.
I’m not the least bit surprised about the concern over drafting a Harvard commit. Treliving will be asked about it after the draft and it will be talked about on 960. Wanting to muzzle that discussion is going way too far the other way IMO.

I'm tired of bad news from the flames and that usually kicks in after the first round of the playoffs. Some positivity from the team itself may right the ship

We can also remember how Connor McDavid looked when Edmonton won that lottery…and that dumbass signed an 8 year deal in Edmonton. Judging anything off a kid’s reaction on draft day is silly.

Kid looked dejected to get drafted by the Flames, like others have stated..odds of him wanting to finish his degree at Harvard for a fourth year could be high and we lose him to NJ/NY team.
Hope I’m wrong, as he’s a goal scoring RW that we need bad.

Twitter guy Bader loves the pick where we got him and described him as the most competitive in the draft. With Pelletier and Zary, we have a type and they'll be a ball ache to play against in a few years.

Fox was a Flames prospect who went to Harvard...Wanted to finish his 4 years there...Told the Flames later on he didn't plan to sign...Went on to win a Norris just a few short years after this and is arguably the best young d in the league.
The concern around drafting another one of these type of players, esp in the 1st round is all warranted!

He is the exception though. Wheeler is the only high pick that has done it. Get excited.

Yeah. I just love the last few picks by the team for where they were drafting.
Pelletier, Zary, Coronato..
Can't go wrong with the versatile warrior type. Just needed a RHS RW version of this and we got one.

And yet... Adam Fox chose the former. Despite a prolific freshman season.

Yeah, the Chicago Blackhawks definitely seem upfront and honest about issues within their organization.
