The crowd reaction to Neal scoring was great.
He was smiling ear to ear on the bench and the crowd seemed so happy for him.

I'm a little confused. There's many in this thread sarcastically responding to those saying it wasn't late by stating that he was hit after he passed the puck so therefor it's a late hit.
I'm not up to speed on all the new rules but did they change it so you literally can't hit a player after the puck leaves his stick? I swear I see like 50 hits a week where somebody dumps a puck in or makes a pass and then a guy hits him right after that happens.
Nothing is ever called, but they're more pedestrian hits. But still makes this discussion confusing.

Sure Benny isn't lighting the lamp on a consistent basis, but he has an edge to his game that is extremely important to this team. That's probably the main reason that he's my Dad's favorite player. Sammy is a boss!!!

They've changed it since I posted.
Now it shows Goodrow with an instigator, so that's an automatic one game suspension. I don't think he left the bench to start the fight, so he shouldn't get the extra game that Lomberg got a couple of weeks ago.

Bennett was barely late but late none the less. Was clean hit shoulder to chest. Nothing at all wrong with that.
Refs should have dealt with dell both times he lashed out at Bennett. But they didn’t. However I don’t think Bennett’s hit was a direct “retribution” for the dell garbage, it was just an opportunistic moment to send a message to the sharks
