If Flyers has an ATL report they will find some good material here.

Watch that boring ass hockey again.
If Sutter can bring back team defence and create an indentity with this team, i'll help unpack his bags and help his family move into their new home.

Rhett Warrener made a great point this morning. If we're keeping Freddie around so Dougie plays better - ya that ain't really working.

Ciao Freddie. Welcome to the big leagues Mangiapane.

I think the coach getting fired mid season has the least probability of happening. It just doesn't seem like Treliving's style. Waiting for that to happen will be torturous for those that want this outcome.

I just want to see what answers the staff has. Can they articulate why the d corps has been crap all year, can they call out those who are letting the team down and are they willing to make the necessary changes?

This is not a knee jerk to one game or two games even. The season long terrible defence is just anger inducing. I don't see the type of push back come from CGY whether it be physical or emotional. It just sucks watching this crap play

I said it last year after the debacle at Toronto and Montreal -- when they're playing boring, uninspired Gulutzan hockey it's basically unwatchable. To the point where I don't even care if they can manage to make the playoffs. And when Mopey behind the bench does nothing to adapt or respond, it makes it even more infuriating.

I kind of agree, although I think Darryl is a top 5 coach in the world, the fit probably isn't there.

IMO the fit is Lindy Ruff.

I would agree with you if the Flames had there 1st pick. Treliving is feeling the heat guaranteed.

He can't adapt. That means changing and changing goes against consistency.

Yeah and fans say his every time only to discover that their team isn't a cup contender for reasons more than just coaching and that they now have to watch a losing team play Sutter hockey.

I disagree. The Flames are a better team on the road. 7-4-1 vs. 7-8 at home.

Very predictable loss. GG is not the man to lead this team. The D with Brodie, Hamilton and Hamonic is very very overrated.

Thanks Flames, your predictable ineptitude won me $2000 tonight.

Coaches are still allowed to call timeouts right? Or are they reserved for good coaches only?

I wonder if GG being quite reserved and having Cameron as an assistant makes him hesitate to force his assistants hands in changes that are required. I guess what I'm saying is that I still don't believe GG is a leader or will ever be one.
