That man was covered on the game tying goal, Elliott was still too deep. Noodles said the same thing during the TSN broadcast.

Unfortunately, a typical reaction from fans when a goalie has been struggling. It's almost like they feel the goalie has a debt or deficit he needs to make up. Not only does he need to start playing well from this point on, but he needs to play so well that it makes up for the previous poor play............which simply isn't realistic.

Elliott was part of the reason we won last night, not part of the reason a 2 goal lead evaporated. Anyone thinking he shouldn't have let that last one in is definitely taking a, "he owed us a big save" mentality to it (and maybe fair enough) rather than looking at whether that particular goal was actually his fault.

If he owed us a big save, he gave it to us several times that game.
