De Grasse looks like Oliver Kylington. They're both real fast, too.

Wow what a race. That was an awesome 100 m final. De Grasse made that third place finish in the last 20-30 meters.

Bolt is just a different species. I don't expect his WR to be broken for another 20-30 years.

DeGrasse is only 21. Bailey was 28 in 1996.

Looks like Blake's shoelace came undone in the last 10 meters. I wonder if that cost him the bronze medal?

I think it's fair that most of these events are only watched once every four years. Under 10 second event, 20+ minutes of celebrating.
Not exactly a dynamic sport. Fun to watch though.

Amazing amazing amazing performance by De Grasse. That was so exciting. Man I am shaking that was crazy.
The fact that he is only 21 and started sprinting 4 years ago is so crazy.

100m track is back for Canada. In toyko degrasse should be the gold favourite as Bolt and Gatlin will likely be retiring. Can't wait!

I don't think ADG will wipe that smile off his face for a while, what a great result.
And so cool watching Bolt treat him like a buddy. Looking forward to 2020 already!

Just so everyone knows Andre is also running the 200m and the 4x100m this week. He may not be done collecting medals just yet.

So awesome for DeGrasse!
And watching Bolt over the years has been one of the most enjoyable sporting spectacles I'm sure any of us will ever see. Impossible not to love the guy, and one of the best - if not the best - athletes of all time in any sport.
