Do Olympic sports usually start/play past the midnight hour? Seems odd that the women's BVB match started at midnight local time, and this men's match, if it went the distance, could have gone much longer.

Is it tight schedules? Heat? Brazillian lifestyle?

Tough loss, but a very entertaining match... Over on the beach the ladies are leading the Swiss 9-7 after winning the first set
