Powerplays are 5 to 1 for Vancouver. I saw a couple of obvious calls missed on the Canucks in that last sequence. They're pretty fortunate to be going to overtime here.

so Seguin didn't slash Edler's stick? if the ref didn't call that they score the empty net. it was a good call.

Call on Seguin was one you rarely see, Dallas 2nd goal happened right after an icing that wasn't
just a bad showing by the refs

What a crock. I f'n hate the Canucks so much. Can't wait to see them get swept in the first round. And I will happily bathe in Jim Hughson's tears.

Weber comes in and gives Eakins a couple crosschecks to the head, even though Eakins was already being held by another Canuck. Classy.

No the tap wasn't worthy of a slash call. It was a gift of a call. Edler's stick wouldn't have fallen if he wasn't holding it with one hand. Just terrible.

Lots of missed calls in tonights Vancouver game. When the homers in the control room say wow they missed one there, you know it was bad. 3 times by my count.

whether or not its right, the precedent set has been if you break a stick on a slash its a penalty, if you dont its not
it seems a weird thing to base it on because whether the stick breaks has no effect on the intent of the slash, but its at least a precedent the players are used too
