just last year he shot 15%

even this year he's shooting ABOVE league average despite the missed breakaways.

Schlemko gets all the noise with his goal (deservedly) but Jooris' was a goalscorers goal as well. With the do or die pressure to boot!

Know what's crazy?

Last year, 4 of Jooris' 12 goals were game winners. His goalscoring died down later on this year, we speculated it was due to his wrist problems and I'm sure had a bit to do with being stuck on the third line. There's also that shootout goal referenced in the post above that kept us in the Schlemko game.

So far, in preseason, Jooris has sunk a pair of gamewinners in the two games he's played.

This guy is Gelinas 2.0 - Just clutch. though I apparently already posted that... eight posts ago. lol.
