I'm also quite impressed with the penalty kicks taken so far. 7 out of 7.
In South Africa it was 9 out of 15. 60%!
There were also only 2 own goals in South Africa.
Own goal is currently joint top scorer with 3.

Lots of goals, and all sorts of goals.
But has there been a single goal from direct from a free kick yet?
Can't think of one right now at least.

I like how Bagor thanked this, yet it is clearly a dig at him...

Two thumbs up! You go with that and I'll go with how it's actually called in professional leagues and global tournaments.

Scoring Winger
Why did Australia sub out Cahill, he had a great game and he's a huge part of the Aussie's offence. Great game though. And can't believe Spain got knocked out.

Song melts down. No brainer red card for assault.

Heh, even the Finnish commentator is pissed at Song for ruining an otherwise potentially interesting game
With Maxi Pereiras pointless card at the end of the Uruguay - Costa Rica game, Pepe losing it against Germany and now Song going crazy we have more incredible stupid red cards than we usually see in a whole tournament.

Crucial World Cup game where your country must get at least a point, game still wide open, situation far away from the play, very obvious and dirty foul.
That really makes this a homerun of idiocy.
If I was a manager possibly considering hiring that guy, or the manager of a national team, I'd scratch Song off my list forever for that. Just can't take the risk.

The Cameroon keeper looks like James Harden.
That's all I got.

Have to give credit to the rest of the team though, still putting up a fight.
Really unfair for them.
