He definitely loves screaming at the refs. Can't remember seeing him yell at the team that much. At least during games no idea what happens in the room or at practice.

I think it shows how much potential these goalies really have that their SV% is above .700 with this team in front of them.

I'd say the same to Moon as well.

Advertising the prospects game on the Flames broadcast? Coincedence I think not.

I like enforcers just fine.

I don't like plugs that do nothing out there and now rarely fight.

And doing an even more substandard job.

Remember when Dave Tippet coached cruddy teams and still kept them somewhat competitive through the season?

There is a substandard roster, and then there is playing a system that doesn't generate scoring chances or goals.

I'm not normally so negative. It's just ugly right now and Burke claims he's "impatient".

Sure is taking his time with this train wreck.

This is the last game until my Centre Ice/Sports Pack is dropped from my cable. Feels about right.

At work so can't watch the game. Other than not scoring yet how are they playing?

I don't mind enforcers - if they play 35 games a season.

But a 4th line is supposed to provide energy. 2 goons on the same line can't do that. And right now, it looks like McGrattan and Westgarth are going to combine for 100 games this season.

Neither player even has a hit this game.

5 on 3 rush and they go gliding up the ice and turn over the puck

At this point McGrattan might as well just skate off for a change if the puck goes into the Flames zone. It is a 5 on 4 with him out there anyways at least this way the new guy has a chance to get in there and help.
McGrattan is one of the fastest skaters on the Flames. He has turned it on several time this year. Are you just listening on the radio?

I accept this. Its just ragging on gratz . He can still play a full shift. I can't really think of a pure enforcer that's not as you would describe .

I believe Hartley likes to yell and scream behind the net, and that was part of the reason for a lot of the early success/coming back in third periods.

That wears thin after a month.

To his defense, he was brought in by his buddy to coach the last out of a vet team last year, and now its the opposite. He got to the playoffs once since 2002, and hasn't won a playoff series since then....very similar to the history Keenan had when he was hired.
