He definitely loves screaming at the refs. Can't remember seeing him yell at the team that much. At least during games no idea what happens in the room or at practice.
We get it, you don't like enforcers. You don't need to post about it at every opportunity.
I don't mind enforcers - if they play 35 games a season.
But a 4th line is supposed to provide energy. 2 goons on the same line can't do that. And right now, it looks like McGrattan and Westgarth are going to combine for 100 games this season.
McGrattan can't skate and can't help out defensively so the least he can do is stand at the top of the zone and cover his d-man but that is twice now he has left his man wide open. Luckily there the Blues went with the other open man or Cole has his second gift goal of the game.
At this point McGrattan might as well just skate off for a change if the puck goes into the Flames zone. It is a 5 on 4 with him out there anyways at least this way the new guy has a chance to get in there and help.
McGrattan is one of the fastest skaters on the Flames. He has turned it on several time this year. Are you just listening on the radio?

Disregard any and all THANKS I give. I'm a dirty, dirty thanks-whore.
I believe Hartley likes to yell and scream behind the net, and that was part of the reason for a lot of the early success/coming back in third periods.
That wears thin after a month.
To his defense, he was brought in by his buddy to coach the last out of a vet team last year, and now its the opposite. He got to the playoffs once since 2002, and hasn't won a playoff series since then....very similar to the history Keenan had when he was hired.
It was fine watching everyone play balls to the wall to start the year, but its all effort and nothing else. Plugging away was fine in October, it's embarrassing in January.
