I thought Berra gave up some fat rebounds, imo he needs to get better with those.

Pretty meh period, Berra was solid but no really big saves needed. Ice is garbage. Oh, and thank you for what you do.

That's not so much a knock on saddledome ice, but more an indication on who was on the ice. Go look at any sheet of ice after NHLers have played hard on it, it's really surprising how much they destroy the rink compared to normal players.

Just a solid, quiet road period by the Flames. Lots of shots from the outside by the Hawks, Berra looked solid when tested. A couple of shaky plays by the team, one dumb penalty, and a couple of scoring chances for the Flames. Evenly contested affair through one.

Fast paced period. Territorial advantage to the Hawks but the Flames had a few looks as well.

Berra solid, facing 18 shots.

I thought Baertschi and Monahan looked good.

Flames working hard again, especially on the back-check

I will never, ever ask an Invigor grower about their crop. So stop telling me to.

Were you on the Olympia (Zamboni) that broke down?

Didn't give up any dangerous chances, but also didn't create any.

Good period, but they'll have to push more to have any hope of winning.

I'm pretty meh about Colborne but he does seem to have a bit of jump lately; he just needs to start potting those opportunities.

1_flames...'Hawks tossed a lot of rubber at your rook...not many dangerous chances...Flames had a couple of counter attacks, Stajan and Wideman, IIRC, both hit CC in the logo though...only one or two sustained possessions for the Flames in the O-zone, mostly one shot and back out...

Nope, I was the long haired, Geddy Lee looking guy on the other one.

If you grew crops, and met an Invigor grower, I bet you would.

They can, but only if they accept the demotion. The only players who can be sent to the ECHL without the player's consent are entry-level players.

Nope. I would punch him in the face. And then yell at him about the mud on his boots.

Solid road period for the Flames. Berra steady, but Chicago didn't have any grade A chances against him.

I guess Hartley doesn't need to name a #1 goalie, Simmer just crowned Berra as the starting goalie of the future.

@Kent_Wilson
Chances 6-6 in the first. Good road period for the Flames.

‏@RogMillions
@Kent_Wilson interesting you say that. It certainly was not echoed by the coaches as they walked past me after the period...

What is with Swiss goalies and awesome goalie masks. Hiller, Gerber and now Berra all have really good masks.
