Ya because hoping they lose = expecting them to throw in the towel.
Oh ya I forgot. For the blowhard segment of the fanbase even the suggestion that the team losing would be beneficial is insulting because you are so morally superior.
No wait it's just because you tell people how they should cheer for the team.

For almost 40 games this season this team couldn't stop anyone from scoring letting in 3+ goals every game. Now it's like they have turned back into the 03/04 Flames regardless of how many AHL players are on the team or starters out of the lineup. I'm at a loss to explain this.

Not as much as I thought I would. The depth is atrocious, but Tanguay wasn't really playing his defensive role this season I felt.

You got awfully upset at being called out for whining about the team not losing (what would you have them do besides throw in the towel by the way, they are already icing one of the worst teams in the league on paper. Shall we put Sven in net?). Might want to relax a bit bud.

Personally I believe the Wings, Coyotes, and Ducks tonight all took the night off thinking they would have to just show up to collect the two points. I don't want to take credit away from the Flames young players but these teams are coming into the dome and laying eggs.
