It may be true, but keep in mind this is the NY Post. Every other outlet is reporting only 2 people have passed away while the Post is saying 12.

Mum was able to find out that my Dad is OK. She hasn't seen or heard from him, but apparently he's OK. Not sure how that works but it sounds promising to me!

It's probs worth pointing out that this close after the event, they'll probably be a huge number of person's of interest (witnesses, possible suspects, etc) so it's unlikely to even be someone involved in the bombing directly.

I think you have the right idea but this isnt realistic. When anything happens in anyones life no matter how significant, the first question is always "why?". In my opinion, the victims families and the city of Boston will want to know what was so important that people had to lose their lives over it.

Hopefully this doesn't inspire nutjobs to target other large profile sporting events. Usually it's the stadiums / arenas that are mentioned as targets - I've never once wondered about the start/finish of an event like this.
Glad to hear most people have heard from friends/family. Feeling pretty ill for those injured or killed.

And I totally agree but no sane person is ever going to understand "why". I honestly do feel if they media would stop sensationalizing crap like this, it may be less appealing for nut jobs to do it in the first place.
