There are hundreds of police officers lined along the entire route of an event like this. I'm not sure what you find so unusual or what conclusion you are suggesting people draw?

In any event, so far it looks like Boston PD (and other first responders) have (as usual) performed heroics in the aftermath of this tragedy. No doubt there will be more heroics in the days to come in Boston hospital emergency and operating rooms.

I'm not suggesting anyone draw any conclusions about anything. A bomb expert or cop I am not. I have no idea how it works.

Relax all, was trying to understand how the first one went unnoticed until it went off and suddenly right after they have found two more. At an event like this, you would think it would be extremely difficult to plant a bomb unnoticed with all the cops and security. Apparently not.
