Last 2 powerplays - zero shots on goal.
There has sure been a lot of pitchforks out for the backup goalies lately.

Other than the goal Cammallari was brutal too.

That's a good assessment.
Makeup of the team is similar t what Hartley has but downgraded in each position. Worse goaltending and worse coaching combines for a 14th place team.

"The only explanation I can give you guys is that we thought it would be easy." - Bob Hartley on the last two periods of play

Maybe if Hartley would bench Glensuck and maybe try someone screening the goalie on the pp we might have won.
|
Or maybe if Iggy would call out his lazy ass team mates. But he can't really do that because Iginla has taken many nights off himself.

You really think Jordano is worth that much with his play this year?
I will just be happy with a 2nd rounder.

Time to start a 10 game winning streak on Sunday against the Canucks.
I can dream.

No, this win was supposed to make up for Tuesday's choke job. Gonna take 3 wins now to make up any ground.
It's not the fact that we are losing that is frustrating. We have bad players, a poor team, fine.
But it's the choke jobs, the lack of effort and pushback that is seriously slowing down how much I watch and how excited I get about this team.

Yet that was not even supposed to be his assignment. That's what happens when you don't have a legitimate center on the ice. The fact that a 20 year old rookie would be held accountable for that is laughable.

Obviously it is Sutter's fault.
Team still has bad habits they learned under him.
At least the loss was exciting!!!!!!!

I don't understand those that say O'Reilly wouldn't have been a good signing for this team.
Do you ENJOY mediocrity? He was precisely the type of player this team needs to be made up of. Hard working, talented, young and he plays Center.
Yet you relish the opportunity to preach that Feaster was making a mistake trying to sign him, because you value your precious draft pick so much. The pick is NOT GUARANTEED. O'Reilly is a proven performer at this level, and is the Center this team has been lacking for 15 years.
What the hell is wrong with some of you people?
Anyway, yeah, this was not a good day to be a Flames fan.
Hartley, play Sven more, you fool.
I don't drink, but this may be a good time to start.
