Skill at both ends. Defencemen who don't defend. Gio looks lost

4th was a bit of luck to bnounce where it did. But as said, MacDonald hasnt probably played 5 games in 8 nights in years, let alone after coming back from 9 month injury just last month.

Brodie gets a pass from me. He's been great all year. He's young. He'll make mistakes.

Even once they trade Iginla, the team is cursed. Refs, bad drafting, bad bounces.
If you cheer for the Flames, buckle up. It doesn't matter what they do, eventually disappointment will settle in.
It sucks. They will never be Oilers bad either. Anyone expecting a top 5 pick should just drive up hwy 2 and cheer for the coil.
Calgary gets boned in the majority of their games due to bad management and bad officiating. Hartley should get the 246 games that Sutter the "non-nhl" or "no medal in the IIHF with 80m in payroll" team shoutd get.
Whoever had patience for Brent Sutter need to understand that Feaster won't fire Hartley this season. Period.

This.
Not only that, but its getting increasingly obvious that players on the team simply don't trust him yet at all. There were numerous times he's been wide open and has never received the puck.
Having said that, honestly, it may be justified as it seems as though he is getting pushed off the puck way too easily right now.
..maybe he's not quite ready.

You'd have to throw in a 1st to get rid of Cammy's boat anchor contract at this point. He's got a good shot, and that's it.

Two Powerplays with 7 minutes to go and no pressure, no drive.
Ugh just a brutal game.... I think I need to step away from the computer tonight.

Macdonald slow to react on the last goal in particular. Kipper, heal faster.

I assume the benching because he got beaten pretty badly for the Avs 2nd goal.

IMO, the first player to trade is Giordano. Get Rattie and a 1st and go from there.

So did 3 other Flames players, including 2 defencemen that looked completely lost.
