I would rather have somewhat more defensively responsible guys in the top 4 like either a Brodie or a Butler to go with Gio, Wideman or Bou.
He's not going to supplant our top three.

The question is, if and when the Flames finish ahead of the Oilers will we finally have a Oiler fan reality check that their rebuild which has been going on in one form or another for about 7 years is starting to look like a gross failure and maybe the team has to sh%tcan the management staff.
Or will they say, next year, we'll finally be better then the Flames?

More likely on the number two powerplay unit, the blueline on the number one looks good to me.

I would look at the following. Bouw, Campbell, seabrook, hamhuis, bieksa, subban, boyle, burns, myers, carle, giordano, gudbrannson, Hamilton (I think is having a better year then Schultz and is also a rookie and 2 or 3 years younger).
Then there is bogosian, coburn, del zotto, staal. And that doesn't include the list of guys that are locks for team Canada.
So I doubt Schultz gets a sniff at this roster.
