There's no reason to wait: The Al East is the best division in baseball, there's no competition. There's not even an argument to be made for any other division in baseball.

I like what he has shown too. Got out of a couple of jams pretty safely. Still learning of course. GTG.

Carreno's upside is a middle reliever. How he's even a fill-in starter is beyond me. He's less than impressive today. I hope Cecil can get some velocity and get called up ASAP.

Perhaps but I have seen teams with great talents on paper faltering miserably for some some reason while others teams not expected to do well surprising everyone...GTG.

Even without the Jays playing well, the Rays, Sox, Yankees would make up the best division in baseball. I'm not holding off on giving the AL East that title, like everyone else in baseball does, because some talented teams have struggled before. No division is even close, there's no argument to be made besides maybe 2 AL East teams fall of the face of the face earth

Because there was literally no other option to fill in for this game. He's pitched fine, he's got no future as a starter with the fact he only has 2 pitches, but he's done his job today, even if it was ugly.

He's had a bad "quarter" of a season with the Jays. That's all.

Rasmus needs to reinvent himself at the plate. He's struggling terribly. Carreno did alright. The two HR's obviously were not good, but on the whole he got through 6 innings and didn't royally screw things up. If our hitters could hit at all against the Indians starters this series, we'd likely be tied or higher.

I'm not excusing his play but people are so hard on him while Lind has got a pass from a lot of people for 2 god awful seasons. His swing is sno natural and when it connects it's one of the best in the majors, he just needs to locate it. He is a very streaky hitter.

Man that was close. It looked like Johnson just missed the tag.

Escobar, Thames all have struggled as bad as Rasmus yet we hear nothing about them. Not sure how people made him the whipping boy of this team. Hopefully Frasor can keep the Indians off the board and we can get another rally going in the 9th

Rasmus also provides stellar defence in centre. I have no problem with having Colby on the Jays.

Not from me. Lind is awful.
I think Rasmus is the whipping boy because he is new and seems to be lazy.
