The sports jersey wedding has happened a few times.......in Saskatchewan with Rider and Oiler gear. Let's just say the European side (dressed well) marrying into the ummm Old Stock Canadian side of the wedding was all about this wedding jersey nonsense.
Heck we even have a thread talking about how bad the people in Edmonton are dressing at the games and the malls, sweatpants central. Replace what I have said in my posts with Oilers and Rider fans and maybe you get a more clear picture? These are the people clipping nails on a plane, going sleeveless. They actually have an instagram account about it https://www.instagram.com/passengershaming/?hl=en
Pepsi: Imagine if my 4:30 pm Swiss Chalet crew started showing up at your hot spot places dressing like they do , what would you think? Not everybody @ Swiss Chalet on a Saturday dressing up like I do.

If you were at a wedding in Saskatchewan and didn’t wear rider gear it’s you who was trashy and under dressed.

In all seriousness, teen/young clothing has essentially always been expressing the polar opposite of their parents/old people.
As a 35-40 year old, I grew up with ankle socks, skinny jeans, 60's style suits, low waisted jeans etc. Compare that to the 80s - 90s: tube socks, mom-jeans; shoulder pads etc.
Young people today are wearing high socks, baggier, high-wasted jeans, and baggier suits/blazers. All to subconsciously not look like their old parents.
Exacerbating this issue is fast fashion and their 16 seasons, and tik tok influencers using generational differences like this to drive engagement.

I don't see any singular fashion trend among kids right now. One high school kid at my gym is rocking a shoulder length mullet and faded t-shirts, looks like he stepped right off of the Stranger Things set. I've also seen several kids walking around with ripped jeans and flannel shirts, like they're headed to a Nirvana concert. And most recently I've seen a big uptick in girls looking like mid-aughts Christina Aguilera, it seems like the last 4 decades are in a fashion blender

He's said early 30's, but he's clearly aging at a rate even faster than Locke.

Sounds like the premise of a buddy movie. “The Curious Case or Grumpy Young Men”, by M. Night Shyamalan.

I rocked a mullet as a teenager and there's never been a day in my adult life that I looked back fondly on it. In fact I threw away my grad pictures because how horrific I looked with the business on top, party in the back look. It's really one of those hairstyles that should never, ever come back.

Likely 39 with a receding hairline, in his Walmart sweats.
I have never heard a person in their 30's describe women's nails the way he did, and call a 70 year old a fox in her day.

Sometimes when I'm bored is scroll through the newsfeed on my iphone. Lately I've been seeing stuff from this placed called HockeyFeed and it's the most clickbaity headlines ever, and after reading an article or two, it's just utter trash.
Headlines like "Lies exposed in Jeremy Swayman's Contract Negotiation" and "New details confirm how Gaudreau brothers found themselves at the collision site"

Lol I wonder if we can figure out people's ages with a few of these indicators:
Current Hairstyle:
Do you approve of mullets if not a mullet:
Sock height:
Airplane attire:
Preference for working class peoples attire when in semi professional setting:
Am I missing any?

No matter what you think of mullets, one thing will always be true:
Mullets on toddlers and children are ####ing awful and the parent should be reported to child protection services.
