Quick question about the white iPhone that is rumoured to be released in the Spring. Any ideas what the release would include? Fixed antenna, more space, new colours? I was thinking of picking up a iPhone 4 but was wondering if waiting would be worth it...

This is great news. The Find My iPhone feature is excellent and something that everybody should have.

Very very excited for 4.2 and the update to the Apple TV. I'm going to my in-laws for christmas this year. I'm totally bringing my apple tv and loading up my iPad and my wife's iPhone with movies to watch on their big screen.

Airplay is the coolest innovation Apple has released in awhile. I can take music from my phone and stream it to multiple floors in the house without moving.

The next natural progression would be to allow transferring songs from a computer to a device wirelessly. AKA, wireless syncing.

Took a while to reboot but I have it now. I forgot about the unified inbox. This will make using the iPad in my office much easier due to the fast app switching. Meetings can be a bit of a task as you constantly have to exit and restart apps. This will help greatly.

Looking forward to getting home to try the Airplay features.

I have a quick question. I've tried to google this so much. Ever since my wife upgraded to a 3GS (I know this is an Iphone 4 Thread) there is always a number 1 showing on the phone icon of the main screen.

She doesn't have a missed call or anything, but it always says she missed 1. Anybody ever have this problem?

My visual voice mail also seems to want me to set it up once a day. I'll wake up and when I go to it, it always tells me to pick a 4 digit password, etc.

the voice mail thing can be fixed with a fresh restore once you get the phone home I believe. I had the same issue, problem seems to be fixed in the new update today.

Never bothered to try the restore thing because I rarely get voice mail.

Well I didn't have the service yesterday, I don't have it today, and I won't tomorrow. That said it is BS that only the iphone4 users are capable of upgrading and receiving this service. Are the older phones unable to take advantage of this service? Not that I'm aware of.
For a company that you typically hear has great customer satisfaction and customer service, this is just one more black eye on their rapidly growing list. I'm only able to have 2 black eyes, how many are consumers going to allow Apple to have?

However it has always been within Apple's paradigm to have consumers upgrade to a refresh every few years. It shouldn't be surprising that they are not supporting older tech.
