It’s unfortunate that you have to choose the VP based on state of residency (where he/she will get you the most support rather than who’s the best person for the job.

And the easy reply to that:
"Source, please?"

I agree he's not a pollster, but he's also not an analyst as you claim.
He's a statistician. He's not making predictions, he's sharing the statistical outcomes based on crunching others peoples numbers.
I don't see how you can be upset with what he says. He's dealing with a ton of uncertainty and bringing together a ton of disparate data.
To me it's like being upset with Excel because you don't like the financial model you created.

He just needs to stop

Also worth noting that two weeks ago he started working for Polymarket, a crypto betting hub that mostly features politics betting. Pretty sketchy.

The fact that someone predicted Trump would win with 25% certainty and is considered correct is why I ignore polling completely. And that's besides the fact that things will change a million times between now and election day. Why pay attention to this stuff at all?

Kamala Harris edges Trump in crucial swing state poll
Quote:
According to the latest poll by Morning Consult for Bloomberg News, Kamala Harris leads Donald Trump in four out of seven key states crucial for the presidential election outcome in the USA. Kamala Harris is performing better than expected. This is a new beginning for the Democrats' election campaign.
According to the latest Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll, Vice President Kamala Harris has an edge over Donald Trump in the race for the U.S. presidency. She leads 48% to 47%.
The poll was conducted online from July 24 to July 28, following Joe Biden's decision not to run. Compared to the early July poll, where Trump led Biden by 2 percentage points and was leading in five of the seven so-called swing states, this marks a significant shift in favour of the Democratic candidate. Harris has an 11-percentage point lead over Trump in Michigan and a 2-point lead in Nevada, Arizona, and Wisconsin. Trump leads her by 4 percentage points in Pennsylvania and by 2 percentage points in North Carolina. Both gained equal support in Georgia.
It’s clear that the Democrats' campaign is at a new beginning after Joe Biden stepped down, and Kamala Harris became the natural successor. If the Democrats skillfully utilize this and clearly draw the lines of division, it could motivate pro-Democratic voters.

Just watched a bit of that interview. What an absolute train wreck. Trump is just such a reprehensible disgrace of a human being. What a sack of s***. Crap like this would completely sink any normal candidate, but sadly this election will still be close. It's absolutely shameful that so many people still support this loser.

Why even bother to ask him a question and expect an actual answer? I mean, other than for clicks/views.

That whole thing seemed like a parody. It was hard not to laugh at some points. The journalists asking the questions had a lot of willpower to not fall into it too much and just let him hang himself.
There were a lot of jeers, but I surprised some people seemed to be applauding him at the end. Was it sarcastic, or because it was at least entertaining? Hopefully they were actually just cheering for the journalists.
Also, what is with the executing new born babies thing? Do MAGA people actually believe that?

As near as I can tell from Trump's words, he said in one state the doctor said they would let them have the baby, and then decide what to do. So of course Trump just assumes that means after birth abortion. But a normal brain would get that meant the other options, such as keeping it, adopting it, or having family take it.

He's clearly not doing well mentally. Yes, we all know he says stupid stuff all day long but this is insane, even for him. And we still have months to go.
He should probably drop out.
